Milwaukee-based Health Payment Systems has named Terry Rowinski as its new president, replacing Jay Fulkerson who will remain chief executive officer.
Rowinski is being promoted from his previous role as chief operating officer. He will have responsibility driving the company’s growth and business strategy along with day-to-day operations.
Health Payment Systems is a privately held health care technology company that helps consolidate and streamline the health care billing and payment experience.
“We are focused on our mission of ending health care billing confusion by accelerating our goal of placing a consolidated, easy-to-understand bill into the hands of every American consumer,” Rowinski said. “Our consumer-centric solution gives self-insured employers, health systems and Accountable Care Organizations a singularly unique opportunity to simplify the healthcare billing process.”
Rowinski joined the company in 2014. He previously served as chief information officer and COO. Before joining HPS, Rowinski was COO of New Berlin-based BuySeasons Inc.
