Hartland-based RC Insurance Services Inc. and Hartland-based Group Health Planning Inc. have merged, effective Aug. 1.
The independent insurance agencies will operate under RC Insurance Services and the headquarters will be at 1320 Walnut Ridge Drive in Hartland.
RC Insurance was founded in 1978, and Group Health in 1983. RC provides business insurance, employee benefits, personal lines of insurance and financial services.

The merger will expand the firm’s employee benefits offerings, including the knowledge added by Bill Brazzoni and Tom Williams in self-funded health plans.
RC also merged with SEBS Fond du Lac in January, adding its second location. The firm plans to continue growing strategically, and is seeking additional acquisitions.
