Harley Davidson Museum to showcase Willie Davidson watercolors

The Harley Davidson Museum will open Untold Stories, a water color exhibit that features the work of Willie G. Davidson, Harley Davidson’s Chief Styling Officer and grandson of the original founders.
The exhibit will feature Davidson’s paintings of rural landscapes and still life art. The work hints at time spent in the countryside during 48 years as a pacesetter in motorcycle design.
“My father has devoted a majority of his life to help guide and shape what Harley-Davidson means to motorcycling enthusiasts around the world,” said Bill Davidson vice president of the Harley Davidson Museum. “I’m excited to open this special exhibit and provide all our visitors a glimpse into his more artistic world, and to show them another side of him, which is a very important part of who he is.”
The exhibit will be open Friday, Jan. 20 and run through Sunday, April 15. The exhibit will kick off with a special evening reception with Davidson on Thursday, Jan. 19. Davidson will describe his experience and passion for art and design and take questions from the audience. Tickets are $12 for members and $15 for non-members.
