1 maraschino cherry
½ slice of orange
1 sugar cube or 1 tsp. of sugar
2-3 dashes of bitters
1-1/2 to 2 oz. of brandy
7Up
Ice
In a 10-ounce or 12-ounce tumbler, combine the cherry, orange, sugar and bitters. Muddle (mash) together.
Add ice, then the brandy, and top off with 7Up. Garnish with an orange slice and a maraschino cherry.
Additional garnishes can include green olives stuffed with pimentos or bleu cheese, marinated mushrooms, picked asparagus or a wedge of pineapple.
