Lake Mills-based Greenwoods State Bank this week is celebrating the grand opening of its new Waukesha branch.
The branch, located at 3212 Fiddlers Creek Drive, opened on May 1. The bank is hosting a grand opening celebration this week, including a cookout on Wednesday, Aug. 28, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The building on Fiddlers Creek Drive was formerly a Bank Mutual branch location.
Founded in 1884, Greenwoods also has locations in Burlington, Lake Geneva, Monticello and Evansville, in addition to Lake Mills and Waukesha. The bank had about $187.5 million in total assets as of March 31, according to the FDIC. Greenwoods says it has more than tripled its asset size since 2010.
Greenwoods earlier this year acquired Burlington-based Fox River State Bank.
“We continue to look for expansion opportunities where we can find businesses that need our type of exclusive financial insights and powerful systems that help their business grow thoughtfully and strategically,” Greenwoods president Rob Cera said in a news release earlier this year.
