GREENBUSH – Tourism key industry in state, region

A new 38,000-square foot visitor center and carriage museum at the Wade House Historic Site caught Susan McFadden’s attention while she was driving on State 23.

That’s exactly what the $12 million building — with a decidedly 19th Century exterior — is designed to do. McFadden returned to Wade house earlier this month with Andrea Tatlock, both as paying visitors. McFadden has lived in Appleton since the early 1980s.
