Green Bay brewery/restaurant to open Milwaukee location

Hinterland, a brewery, upscale restaurant and lounge in Green Bay, plans to open a restaurant in Milwaukee’s Historic Third Ward. The Milwaukee restaurant will open in August.

Hinterland recently leased 5,000 square feet of space at 222 E. Erie St. The building is owned by 222 E. Erie Associates LLC including Michael Glazier of Sertus Capital Partners LLC as a general partner.

Inland Companies broker Jennifer Cape represented the buyer and seller in brokering the deal.

Hinterland is an upscale restaurant specializing in fresh ocean fish flown in daily from Honolulu along with an assortment of wild game, organic and Kobe beef. The restaurant will have an extensive wine list and drink menu, including all of Hinterland’s own brewed beer.

The building was redeveloped by Inland Construction last year. Other retail tenants in the building include JuJu Gifts, Home Market, and Vita Fitness.
