GPS Education Partners has named Jan Druetzler-Katz program administrator for the manufacturing education program’s central region.
Druetzler-Katz will manage five education centers at manufacturing companies in central Wisconsin. She will also work to improve the GPS curriculum and instruction model.
She has experience in urban education and will use her skills to help the program connect with students and ready them for additional education and successful careers.
Druetzler-Katz was previously vice president of educational services at Edison Learning. She holds a doctorate in urban education from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
“We are very excited to have Jan join our team,” said Andy Hepburn, program director. “Her experience and passion for leading rigorous and relevant education environments will bring a great energy to our program.”
Butler-based GPS Education Partners pairs schools and manufacturing businesses to teach non-traditional high school learners in interactive manufacturing environments.
