Vincent Lyles, former president and chief executive officer of Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee, has been named vice president of community relations at Advocate Aurora Health.
Lyles announced in September he was stepping down after leading the Milwaukee clubs since 2011.
He assumes his position with Advocate Aurora on Jan. 7, 2019.
In his new role, Lyles will “lead and establish the strategic direction of community relations” for the Milwaukee- and Downers Grove, Illinois-based health system, according to an announcement.
“Vincent will be a vital addition to our leadership team,” said Cristy Garcia-Thomas, chief external affairs officer. “His expansive leadership skills and broad background in community engagement gives us the opportunity to build upon our community relations efforts underway and deliver on our consumer first strategy. Vincent’s work will help us strategically align our community relations initiatives in a way that will sustainably improve the communities we serve.”
Prior to Boys & Girls Clubs, Lyles was president of M&I Community Development Corp. and a director with Robert W. Baird & Co.
