Forefront Dermatology, formerly Dermatology Associates of Wisconsin S.C., is planning to open a new 2,800-square-foot dermatology clinic in Oconomowoc at 1320 Pabst Farms Circle, Suite 180, in mid-February of 2016. The new clinic will offer medical, surgical and cosmetic services, and will be accepting new patients.
Headquartered in Manitowoc and located throughout the Midwest, Forefront Dermatology is a network of independent dermatology practices comprised of community-based dermatologists. Including the new Oconomowoc location, it has 76 total locations and 35 in Wisconsin. This will be the 14th in the Milwaukee metro area.
The new clinic will include the following professionals: Dr. Kate Garvey, an American Board of Dermatology-certified dermatologist; Dr. Christopher Burnett, an American Board of Dermatology-certified dermatologist and American College of Mohs Surgery trained fellow; and Candace Bering, a board-certified physician assistant.
“We are delighted that our new clinic will bring added convenience to patients in Oconomowoc and the surrounding areas,” said Dr. Kenneth Katz, president and founder of Forefront Dermatology. “As we expand into Oconomowoc, we are excited to offer the community a full range of dermatology services.”
“As with our other clinics, we will be able to provide same-day appointments to meet the needs of the Oconomowoc community, so that we can get them the personalized care they need, when they need it,” Garvey said. “In addition, our patients who require specialized surgery for skin cancer removal (Mohs micrographic surgery) will have the added convenience of being able to have their procedures performed in our Oconomowoc clinic by Dr. Burnett.”
