Fiserv spreads holiday cheer

Brookfield-based financial services technology provider Fiserv Inc. is supporting holiday charities across the country, including in Brookfield.
The company’s employees have delivered toys to the U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots drive in Brookfield and 11 other cities in the U.S.: Hickory, N.C., Hillsboro, Ore., Houston, King of Prussia, Pa., Lake Mary, Fla., Lincoln, Neb., Norcross, Ga., Phoenix, Ariz., Sioux Falls, S.D., South Bend, Ind. and Wallingford, Conn.
Fiserv branches are also supporting local charities, including the Salvation Army in Dallas, Angel Tree in Morris Plains, N.J., and Treasures for Children in Pittsburgh.
Employees have donated almost 1,000 holiday toys this year, the company said.
Fiserv also made donations to Feeding America and CARE International as a holiday thank you to its 16,000 financial services clients.
“With more than 19,000 associates in 200 locations around the world, Fiserv has made it a priority to care globally and act locally this holiday season,” said Judy DeRango Wicks, vice president of communications at Fiserv. “Teamwork on programs like Toys for Tots enables us to work together to bring joy to others as we take an active role in our communities to make a personal and cumulative impact.”
Fiserv employees have recorded more than 7,500 hours in 2011 through its volunteer organization, Fiserv Gives Back.
