The Jacksonville, Florida-based, fast-casual sandwich shop chain in May 2016 said it planned to add at least 12 locations in the following three years to the Wisconsin market, and it’s still on track.
Since then, it has opened eight restaurants throughout the state, including Menomonee Falls, Brown Deer, West Bend, Grafton, and Waukesha. The company’s most recent opening was its West Bend store, which is owned by husband and wife duo Sharon and Bob Erickson.
Firehouse Subs in New Berlin, located at 4824 S. Moorland Road, is the 18th location to open in Wisconsin since 2012. It will be operated by franchisees Kurt Kloba and Bill Rowe, who together own a location in Menomonee Falls. Kloba also owns Firehouse Subs in Wauwatosa.
The new restaurant will be open daily from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Founded in 1994 by brothers and former firefighters Chris and Robin Sorensen, Firehouse Subs operates more than 1,135 locations in 44 states, Puerto Rico, Canada and Mexico.
