Milwaukee-based Fiduciary Real Estate Development Inc. is planning a 21-building residential development in Menomonee Falls, according to documents the company filed with the state Department of Natural Resources.

The proposed project would be built on the eastern portion of a 28-acre site that the company owns at N56 W17835 Silver Spring Drive, located less than one mile southwest of Kohl’s Corporate offices.

The development would occupy 11.5 acres on the east side of the site and would be situated adjacent to a pond that was created in 1999 to manage stormwater for the development, according to the documents submitted by Stantec Consulting Services.

Fiduciary Real Estate Development has not yet announced nor finalized the plans, and the development is likely in the early planning stages, said Tiffany Walisiewicz, project coordinator at the company. Walisiewicz said she could not provide further details about the project.

The information submitted by Fiduciary to the DNR indicated the development will have 21 buildings, plus a pool and pool house, but did not indicate how many residential units were planned in the project.

The DNR earlier this month approved the project after reviewing a wetland delineation that was completed early this year by Stantec.

The project would impact 0.14 acres of wetland, according to the report.
