FedEx Trade Networks opens new Milwaukee office

FedEx Trade Networks, the freight forwarding arm of global shipping giant FedEx Corp., today announced the opening of new U.S. offices in the Milwaukee, Phoenix and St. Louis markets as part of its ongoing expansion.

The new offices provide freight forwarding and customs brokerage operations.
The Milwaukee market office opened today in Brookfield at 200 S. Executive Drive with a small staff that is likely to grow as the business expands, according to a FedEx spokeswoman.
“Launching operations in these new markets strengthens our infrastructure and provides us with enhanced coverage to meet our customers’ evolving needs. By increasing our U.S. office network, we can continue to offer customers a wider variety of solutions and routing options to fit their international freight forwarding and customs brokerage supply chains,” said Andy Henry, vice president of U.S. operations for FedEx Trade Networks. “Opening additional U.S. offices is also a key component of our ongoing global expansion. Over the last few years, we have established operations in some of the world’s most significant freight forwarding markets to support our growing customer base.”
Since 2008, the company has opened 50 new offices throughout the United States, Asia, Europe, the Middle East, Indian-subcontinent, Africa and Latin America, in addition to its more than 70 existing locations in the United States and Canada. FedEx Trade Networks is also upgrading and expanding existing facilities to handle increasing customer volumes.
The new U.S. offices offer a full suite of FedEx Trade Networks air and ocean freight forwarding and customs brokerage solutions. Customers will benefit from the company’s ability to build innovative, end-to-end solutions with its wide range of freight forwarding options, including value-added services such as online shipment visibility with My Global Trade Data, purchase order management via Global Order Logistics, surface transportation, warehousing, distribution and a variety of multimodal services. Each office is also staffed with logistics professionals who are experienced in the industry and knowledgeable about the local market to provide service to the company’s customers.
