Featured Deal

Bachman Furniture Gallery, a 98-year-old, third-generation family-owned furniture and design showroom, will relocate to Milwaukee’s Menomonee Valley.

The retailer recently purchased a 60,000-square-foot portion of the former American Radiator Co. building, with plans to renovate the historic structure and move in by the end of the year.

Bachman will become part of the Valley’s St. Paul Avenue Design District, which also includes BBC Lighting, Brass Light Gallery, Guardian Fine Art Services, House of Stone, ProStar Surfaces and Riverview Antique Market.

Joe Bachman, president and owner of Bachman Furniture, said the move will better reflect his vision for the business. Bachman Furniture is currently located at 6800 W. Capitol Drive.

“Our business is design,” Bachman said. “I have never really felt like we are a big-box type of furniture store.”
