Fastsigns to move to larger site

On Wednesday, May 1, Fastsigns of Menomonee Falls will be doing business at a new location located at W173 N9170 St. Francis Drive, a former U.S. Post Office at the intersection of Shady Lane and Appleton Avenue.

The company will move from its original site at N91 W17271 Appleton Ave.

“We are now a top 50 Fastsigns center reaching $1 million in sales in 2012. We have not had a down year in any of the eight years since we’ve opened,” said Patrick Yates, owner of Fastsigns of Menomonee Falls. “We have built our business on quality customer service and products and this location will serve us and our customers better. We specialize in producing high volume projects that require project management, production, kitting and shipping.”

The new location has 6,000 square feet, which is 3,900 square feet larger than the center’s initial space. With the larger facility, the center will have more production space and office space to accommodate the center’s growth and serve customers better.

The production area will be expanded to accommodate space for the center’s flatbed printer; a large packaging area; an area for upcoming equipment, such as cutting and engraving machines; and an indoor vehicle bay, which will provide space to complete vehicle graphics and lettering regardless of weather conditions. The design area will also be larger to house the roll-to-roll printer, an additional printer and vinyl plotters.

A larger showroom, which includes sign and graphic samples along with a client consultation room, will benefit staff and customers, Yates said.

“The sales area will be a more consultative, open atmosphere and create a much more visual experience,” Yates said. “We plan on steady and continued growth.”

Yates recently hired two additional staff members and plans to add more over the next few years as sales increase.
