Evers and WMC to host coronavirus webinar at 2 p.m. today

Governor Tony Evers and Wisconsin Manufacturers and Commerce will host a webinar today for an update on the COVID-19 coronavirus.

The webinar, which takes place at 2 p.m., will include Evers, members of his cabinet, the WMC and its trade association partners as well as local chambers, according to a press release. The webinar will detail state government’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic and update listeners on how the business community has been impacted.

The call will include comments from Department of Health Services secretary Andrea Palm, Department of Workforce Development secretary Caleb Frostman, Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation secretary and chief executive officer Missy Hughes followed by a question and answer segment.

Attendees must register in advance and follow the directions in the confirmation email to successfully join the webinar. Any questions for the panelists can be emailed in advance to Nick Novak, WMC vice president of communications and marketing, by noon today at nnovak@wmc.org.
