ESPN Milwaukee, Habitat for Humanity honor Broan-NuTone

Milwaukee Habitat for Humanity in partnership with 540 ESPN Milwaukee recently saluted Hartford-based Broan-NuTone as the grand prize winner of the “Oh the Humanity” contest for the company’s philanthropic support of the nonprofit organization.

The “Oh the Humanity” contest, facilitated through 540 ESPN Milwaukee, turned to volunteer groups in the region’s business community to learn how they help Milwaukee Habitat for Humanity advance its mission of providing affordable, decent housing for residents in need.

The station’s management team randomly selected Broan-NuTone as the contest’s grand prize winner among the corporate volunteers who shared their stories.

Broan-NuTone, a manufacturer of residential ventilation products, has provided Habitat for Humanity with bathroom ventilation fans, kitchen range hoods, door chimes, medicine cabinets, wall caps and ceiling fans for construction and renovation projects.

“As a champion of community causes, we are truly honored to have received this special award,” said David Pringle, president and chief executive officer of Broan-NuTone. “We are committed to being a good neighbor and helping those in need. This recognition is a testament to our unwavering support of the organization that has and continues to help so many in the Milwaukee area.”
