Dallas-based real estate brokerage firm CBRE announced that Emmy Klug has been named the new director and market leader of the firm's Milwaukee office. Klug will oversee business operations and drive the office's growth strategy for all advisory business sectors, according to a news release. They include the leasing, sales, valuations, debt and structured finance, and property management lines of business. "Our Milwaukee office and clients will benefit from Emmy’s vast knowledge of CBRE’s broad platform of services and forward-thinking," Chris Zubel, executive managing director for CBRE’s Midwest markets, said in a statement. "Emmy is uniquely positioned to strengthen our capabilities further and enhance our market position." Klug joined CBRE in 2019 in a leadership role overseeing all business operations for the Milwaukee office. Those operations included recruitment, budgeting, licensing, and pandemic-related health and safety protocols. Klug earned a bachelor's degree in journalism, advertising and media studies from UW-Milwaukee in 2013. CBRE says it is the world's largest commercial real estate services and investment firm, based on 2020 revenue. It has more than 100,000 employees serving clients in more than 100 countries.
