Nysse will be responsible for executing White Lodging’s growth plan, which will include real estate acquisition/entitlements, pre-construction and site/franchise related approvals.

White Lodging’s portfolio includes $1.1 billion in total investment including 12 newly-constructed hotels that will be opening over the next 36 months.

“I am thrilled to join White Lodging and support their strategic growth plan with a targeted focus on premium-branded hotels in select markets,” Nysse said.

Nysse joins White Lodging from Arrival Partners where he served as lead development executive for numerous hotels over the last five years including The Westin Milwaukee, which opened in June.

Prior to that, Nysse was a principal at Milwaukee-based architecture firm Kahler Slater for 17 years where he formed and led the hospitality team.

With more than 165-premium hotels, 30 restaurants and 30 brands — including Marriott International, Hilton Worldwide, Hyatt Global, and InterContinental Hotel Group — in 19 states, it is the fastest growing hotel ownership, development, and management company in America, according to the company’s website.
