Sturgeon Bay-based Door County Distillery and Door Peninsula Winery are the newest additions to the cohort of Wisconsin-owned food and beverage vendors at Fiserv Forum in downtown Milwaukee.

The distillery on Wednesday opened a bar at the arena that will sell craft cocktails made with its line of spirits, as well as wine produced by Door Peninsula Winery. The bar is located on the upper concourse at the Southside Market.

“Door County Distillery bar is an excellent addition to the Southside Market, a consortium of eclectic food and beverage options not found anywhere else in the arena,” said Matt Pazaras, senior vice president of business development and strategy for the Milwaukee Bucks.

The bar serves Door Peninsula Winery’s Cherry Mimosa, Blackberry Merlot and Strawberry Zin, and its selection of spirits includes gin, vodka, rum and cherry brandy.

“We are proud to be working with the Milwaukee Bucks and have our products featured in Fiserv Forum,” said Beth Levendusky, marketing director at Door County Distillery. “We have always put an emphasis on using local Wisconsin ingredients and suppliers, and it is wonderful to find a partner who shares that ideal. We are excited to embark on what I’m sure will be a long and fruitful partnership.”

Door County Distillery and Door Peninsula Winery both operate a shared production facility, located along state Highway 42. The building was originally built in 1868 as a two-room schoolhouse but has since been remodeled and expanded to house the two businesses, according to the winery’s website.
