Mount Mary College has appointed Milwaukee-based Dohmen chief executive officer Cynthia LaConte to its board of trustees for a three-year term.
An alumna of Mount Mary College who graduated cum laude with a bachelor of arts in merchandising in 1984, LaConte has served as Dohmen’s CEO since 2009. Her leadership efforts have helped the 150-year-old company expand with multiple divisions catering to producers and payers of health care products. LaConte has also led the Dohmen Investment Group and both created and headed the Dohmen Company Foundation.
In 2012 she received the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award for the Upper Midwest.
