Cricket calls for clothes

Cricket Communications, Inc., will celebrate its one year anniversary in the Wisconsin market by partnering with the Salvation Army of Greater Milwaukee to collect cold weather gear for people in need this year.
Individuals are encouraged to drop off their new or gently used cold weather gear at one of Cricket’s four Milwaukee-area corporate stores.
“Cricket has been in Wisconsin a year now, and we’re truly grateful to the Milwaukee community and its residents for their continued support,” said Carrie McKenzie, district director for Cricket in Milwaukee. “We realize the Salvation Army fills a great need, especially this time of year, and we’re excited to partner with them to help keep Milwaukeeans warm this winter.”
Items of special need include mittens, hats, socks and coats. For every item collected, Cricket will donate $1 to the Salvation Army. In addition to matching each donation, Cricket will thank customers who donate with a $5 credit towards ringtones, games, wallpaper and more.
