MKE CoWork is a new coworking space founded by Ed Riggenback and Matt Maurice, who also own Milwaukee-based property management company Welcome Home Milwaukee.
Riggenback and Maurice recently remodeled the interior and exterior of the building at 7311 W. Greenfield Ave., which is now adorned in Cream City brick.
The new coworking space, which opens Aug. 10, has three private offices, two offices for team meetings and two larger spaces where entrepreneurs can rent individual desks. Membership starts at $200.
In the future, MKE CoWork will host monthly events where entrepreneurs can network and collaborate. The coworking space also has a variety of amenities, including a full kitchen and coffee bar, fiber internet, remote access capabilities and surveillance security.
“Taking the plunge into business ownership can be challenging, but too often folks think they need to do it alone,” Maurice said in a statement. “We are building a space that’s far beyond somewhere to just plop down a laptop. We want a community that challenges each other to build better things and level up.”
