Conference to focus on innovations for nonprofits

In a changing funding market, nonprofit leaders must make innovation a cultural norm, replacing outdated habits with new ideas and measurable action plans, according to BizTimes columnist and business strategist Christine McMahon.

McMahon will share her insights for leaders of nonprofit organizations at “Transform the Agenda: Creating an Innovative Culture at Your Nonprofit,” a conference presented by the Milwaukee Center for Independence and the Nonprofit Center of Milwaukee.

The conference will be held Tuesday, Jan. 29, from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m., at the MCFI Conference Center, Harry & Jeanette Weinberg Building, 2020 W. Wells St., Milwaukee.

The cost to attend is $45 for Nonprofit Center of Milwaukee members and $65 for non-members. The fee includes breakfast and all handouts. To register, visit http://tinyurl.com/npinnovate or call 414-344-3933.
