Milwaukee Public Museum
Milwaukee Public Museum is a natural and human history museum in downtown Milwaukee. The museum was established in 1882. The current location at 800 W. Wells St. opened in 1962. A new building for the museum is under construction northeast of North 6th Street and McKinley Avenue in downtown Milwaukee. The $240 million project is expected to be complete in 2027.
