J. “Omar” Andrietsch on Monday opened Colour Palate, a new downtown Milwaukee restaurant at 789 N. Water St. The Colour Palate menu includes salads, wraps and soups.
“We take nature’s freshest, most flavorful ingredients from the earth and put them together for you in creative ways that satisfy and invigorate,” Andrietsch said. “If you’re a vegan, we have a whole lot of options for you. Or if you’re an old fashioned carnivore like me, you can load up some romaine lettuce with plenty of grilled steak and bleu cheese.”
The restaurant has 20 employees. It will be open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays.
