The MAIDS, a Menomonee Falls-based cleaning company owned by Pete and Sue Peerenboom, recently partnered with Texas-based Cleaning for a Reason Foundation to provide complimentary cleaning services to women undergoing cancer treatment.
“As a local business owner, I continually look for ways to give back to the communities I serve and Cleaning for a Reason is a wonderful opportunity that directly impacts the lives of so many community members in a positive way,” said Sue Peerenboom, co-owner of the MAIDS. “I understand how cancer treatment can change a person’s quality of life, making tasks once so easy, quite difficult.”
The MAIDS has volunteered to donate cleaning services to cancer patients in the communities of Bayside, Cedarburg, Colgate, Erin, Fox Point, Germantown, Glendale, Grafton, Hartford, Hubertus, Lannon, Libson, Menomonee Falls, Mequon, Jackson, Richfield, River Hills, Rockfield, Shorewood, Slinger Sussex, Thiensville and Whitefish Bay. Each patient may receive up to four months of complimentary cleaning services.
To apply for, or recommend someone for THE MAIDS’ free professional cleaning services for women undergoing cancer treatment, please contact The Cleaning for a Reason Foundation at 877-337-3348 or visit www.cleaningforareason.org.
