Eighth Marcus Amphitheater show announced for festival

John Boler, the chief marketing officer at Milwaukee World Festival Inc., is joining Aurora Health Care.

Chris Stapleton and Alabama Shakes will co-headline the Marcus Amphitheater on Saturday, July 2, during Summerfest, Milwaukee World Festival Inc. officials announced today.

This is the eight major show that has been announced for Summerfest 2016, which will run from June 29 to July 3 and July 5-10.

Other Marcus Amphitheater headliner shows that have been announced for Summerfest 2016 include: Selena Gomez, June 29; Blake Shelton, July 1; Tim McGraw, July 3; Luke Bryan, July 7; Def Leppard, REO Speedwagon and Tesla, July 6; Weezer and Panic! At The Disco, July 9; Sting and Peter Gabriel, July 10.
