The board of directors for
Building Advantage announced the appointment of
Chris Mambu Rasch as the organization’s new executive director.
Rasch has 20 years of experience in health care, governmental affairs and labor. Most recently, he was director of strategic partnerships and government relations for Sixteenth Street Community Health Centers.
He replaces Nathan Jurowski, who
left the organization in November.
“I’m thrilled to begin building relationships and making an impact on behalf of our union and management construction industry partners,” said Rasch. “Southeast Wisconsin’s economy benefits from union commercial construction, and I look forward to continuing this organization’s mission to promote union construction as the first choice for partners and career-seekers.”
“We’re excited to have Chris join the organization”, states Dan Bukiewicz, President of the Milwaukee Building and Construction Trades Council and Building Advantage co-chair. “Chris has the right background to hit the ground running and build upon the initiatives that Building Advantage has developed.”
Rasch is a 1999 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Building Advantage is a Milwaukee-based Joint Labor Management Commercial Construction Trade Association, developed by the Construction Labor Management Council of Southeast Wisconsin (CLMC), dedicated to advancing the interests of the union tradespeople and contractors in the greater Milwaukee area.
