Chief of the Navy Reserve to honor area employers

Vice Admiral Dirk Debbink, the Chief of the United States Navy Reserve, is scheduled to honor members of the Armed Forces and their employers at the annual Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) “Breakfast with the Boss” hosted as part of Milwaukee’s Armed Forces Week.

The event will be Monday, May 11 at 7 a.m. at the Wisconsin Club, 900 W. Wisconsin Ave., Milwaukee. Debbink, a native of Oconomowoc, has served in the Navy for over 25 years. He was president of Oconomowoc-based MSI General Corp., before being recalled to active duty in 2008.
