Charlie’s East Coast Hair Designs, a Brookfield salon for hair, nail and make-up beauty, has contracted to operate the hair salon at the Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare-Franciscan Woods, located on the campus of Wheaton Franciscan-Elmbrook Memorial in Brookfield.
A full-time stylist delivers barbering, hair and nail services to patients at the in-house salon. The shop is accessible to clients with disabilities, and its unique design aims to maximize comfort for those using wheelchairs or requiring walkers and other mobility devices.
Franciscan Woods is part of Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare, a Catholic, not-for-profit health care and housing organization with more than 100 sites in Wisconsin, Iowa and Illinois, including 14 hospital campuses, physician services, transitional and extended care facilities, and home health agencies.

Bianco, a New York native, is a master barber with more than 25 years of professional experience.
Opened in 2011, Charlie’s East Coast Hair Designs operates its main salon at 285 N. Janacek Road (a block south of Bluemound Road), Brookfield. The salon is a full-service, New York-style setting offering classic barbering services, hair designs, nail services, tanning and color and waxing for women and men. Its Bridal Suite & Lounge offers a private preparation space for bridal parties, prom-goers and bachelorette parties.
