Charity golf outing to benefit lymphoma, leukemia and autism organizations to be held Aug. 19

Event hosted by Ground Maintenance Services and ActionCOACH

A charity golf outing hosted by Ground Maintenance Services and ActionCOACH will take place Aug. 19 at Ironwood Golf Course in Sussex to raise money for the Lymphoma & Leukemia Society as well as the Autism Society of South Eastern Wisconsin.

This will be the 11th annual GM-AC golf outing, which has raised more than $100,000 for charitable organizations over the past decade.

Last year, more than 210 people participated in the event and raised more than $15,000 for the lymphoma and lukemia and autism societies.

“This event has grown every year, and it’s hard to believe it’s entering its second decade” said Todd Ruedt, owner of Grounds Maintenance Services and business coach at ActionCOACH in a prepared statement. “Our continued success and, most importantly, all the money we’ve raised for charity, is due to the thousands of people who have participated, bought sponsorships, donated auction items and volunteered to make the event run. We’re thrilled to be able to count on so many great people to support two great causes.”

The cost to play in the event is $125 per golfer. The fee will cover 18 holes of golf, access to the driving range, drink tickets and meals. The event will also have a silent auction and games. Event sponsorships are available starting at $250.
