CEOs fight Cancer

The American Cancer Society held its second annual CEOs Against Cancer forum on September 17 at the Pfister Hotel. CEOs Against Cancer is a leadership group partnering with the American Cancer Society to reduce the impact of cancer and other chronic diseases on the workplace. Jerome M. Janzer, CEO, Reinhart Boerner Van Deuren s.c., and William D. Petasnick, President and CEO, Froedtert Hospital and Community Health Services, served as chair and vice-chair of the event. Bud Selig, Commissioner of Major League Baseball and cancer survivor was the keynote speaker. The business leaders discussed current employer health care issues and shared examples of how they are working to reduce the impact of cancer and other diseases within their companies.
