The number of daily flights by Frontier Airlines out of General Mitchell International Airport was recently reduced to seven. In May of 2011, the company operated 86 flights out of the Milwaukee airport.

Roadrunner Transportation reports record quarter
Roadrunner Transportation Systems, Inc., a Cudahy-based asset-light transportation and logistics service provider, reported first quarter net income of $7.9 million, or 25 cents per share, up from $4.4 million, or 14 cents per share, in the same period a year ago.

Talgo plans layoffs in Milwaukee
Train manufacturer Talgo this week has begun the legal process of notifying its workforce and the state that it will lay off employees at its Milwaukee facility. The company has about 80 employees in Milwaukee.
