Milwaukee-based Kahler Slater recently received a Design Award of Excellence from Modern Healthcare Magazine for its work on the Grand Itasca Clinic and Hospital in Grand Rapids, Minn.

The City of Milwaukee is selling its historic neighborhood posters which were designed by graphic artist Jan Kotowics, starting in 1983. Over the next seven years, Kotowicz added 25 posters to the collection.
