Carson’s, a popular Chicago steak and barbeque restaurant, will open its new Milwaukee restaurant on Friday at 301 W. Juneau Ave. in The Moderne, a 30-story residential tower.
Dean Carson, the owner of Carson’s, signed a 20-year-lease for the entire 8,000-square-foot first floor retail space in The Moderne.
The restaurant is located at the corner of Juneau Avenue and Old World Third Street. Sidewalk seating will be added for outdoor dining, said Rick Barrett, the developer of The Moderne.
The Milwaukee restaurant will be the third Carson’s location. The other two are in Chicago’s River North neighborhood (just north of The Loop) and in Deerfield, Ill. in suburban Chicago.
Carson’s was named by Chicago Magazine as one of the “Top 40 Chicago Restaurants Ever,” and has received numerous other accolades.
