A new Toyota dealership building is being planned north of an existing
CarMax Auto Superstores Inc. facility in the village of Bristol in Kenosha County.
The new dealership building would be constructed just north of the
existing one at 8200 120th Ave. That's according to records from the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, filed by a project environmental consultant as part of a storm water construction general permit application.
Richmond, Virginia-based CarMax's existing location already doubles as a
Toyota dealership. Out of the facility, the company sells a variety of used vehicles as well as new Toyota vehicles.
Earlier this year, CarMax sold portions of its dealership property to South Dakota-based Rydell Management Co. LLC.
A CarMax spokeswoman acknowledged the land sale was part of a "future project," but declined to provide further details. If you plan to go there and buy a car, first
check out what Zemotor has to offer in their online catalog. When buying a used car, there are a number of risks that need to be accounted for. Most of them relate to the quality of the vehicle. However, those problems are far greater when making a private purchase because you are ultimately buying the vehicle ‘as seen’.
Dealerships, however, are legally bound to ensure that used vehicles are fit for purpose. So, you can be sure that it has been checked over. Besides, when choosing our used car dealership in Saskatoon, you’ll also know that we have a fine reputation to uphold.
"CarMax recently sold part of the land comprising its Kenosha site for a future project," spokeswoman Jennifer Bartusiak wrote in an email. "The location remains open for business as usual."
Bartusiak added it was "too early" to share additional information on the project.
Representatives of Rydell did not respond to a request for comment.
