Call to executives to speak at Get Smarter Conference

“The Transfer of Knowledge and Power to the Next Generation” will be the theme of the 2014 BizTimes Get Smarter Conference.

The breakfast event will take place at Potawatomi Hotel & Casino in Milwaukee on Friday, Oct. 17.

A lineup of 10 accomplished executives will each bring five ideas to share with young, rising professionals to help them advance their careers and take their organizations to new heights.

The accomplished executives will each be given five minutes to speak in the fast-moving forum. We will have a scoreboard with a game clock, so they will need to get right the point.

We are asking these experienced executives to share their wisdom and lessons learned with the next generation. We are approaching a crossroads as the baby boom generation begins to retire and hands over the reins to the next generation. A great deal of knowledge and power will need to be transferred.

Young professionals are invited to attend and take notes from the seasoned leaders.

BizTimes is recruiting accomplished executives willing to share their insights at the Get Smarter Conference. If you are interested in joining the lineup of speakers, contact me at steve.jagler@biztimes.com.
