Vijay Govindarajan, one of the foremost experts in business innovation in the nation, will be the keynote speaker of the next meeting in the Helen Bader Leadership Speaker Series.
Govindarajan will speak on “Reverse Innovation” on Monday, June 11, from 7:30 to 11 a.m. at the Pfister Hotel in downtown Milwaukee.
The series is co-sponsored with the Greater Milwaukee Committee, the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater Center for Innovation and Business Development, GE Healthcare and Ernst & Young, in partnership with Food Services Inc. and BizTimes Media.
Govindarajan is the Earl C. Daum 1924 Professor of International Business and the founding director of Tuck’s Center for Global Leadership at Dartmouth College. He is an expert on strategy and innovation. He was the first Professor in Residence and Chief Innovation Consultant at General Electric.
He has been cited by BusinessWeek, The Economist, Forbes, and The London Times as the top thought leader in strategy. He was named the third-most influential business thinker by The Thinkers50.
Copies of Govindarajan’s book (co-authored with Chris Trimble), “Reverse Innovation: Create Far From Home, Win Everywhere,” will be for sale at the event for $10.
