A Burger King restaurant will open in the Ivy on Fourteenth project at 1400 W. Wells St. near the Marquette University campus.
Burger King leased a 2,400 square foot space in Ivy on Fourteenth, according to a news release today from Mid-America Real Estate-Wisconsin.
Ivy on Fourteenth is a six-story, 80-unit, 165-bed private student housing development that is under construction. Opus Development Company LLC. is the developer, and Opus Design Build, LLC is managing the design and construction of the building. Korb Tredo Architects is the project architect. Harrison Street Real Estate Capital LLC will own the project.
Mid-America broker Andrew Prater brokered the Burger King deal for Opus.
The building will have 7,500 square feet of retail space. In addition to the Burger King restaurant, Ivy on Fourteenth will also have a Subway restaurant.
The building is being constructed on a site formerly occupied by Kampus Foods, Sweeny’s Books and a Subway restaurant.
