The
Allis Yards development in West Allis has landed a new office tenant.
Broadstep Behavorial Health Inc., a national provider of behavioral-health and residential support services, is moving its Wisconsin business office, community support program and pharmacy to Allis Yards in October, according to a news release.
It is leasing 12,000 square feet at 1205 S. 70th St., said a spokesman with brokerage firm CBRE. CBRE Wisconsin's Alyssa Geisler, John Mazza and Lacey Fisher represented the landlord, Milwaukee-based Cobalt Partners LLC, in the transaction.
Pewaukee-based
VJS Development Group provided real estate services as tenant representative, and VJS Construction Services will work with Broadstep and Cobalt to build out the tenant space.
"Our redevelopment will be paying homage to the legacy of Allis-Chalmers and the workers who made it happen while providing an ideal location for the Broadstep team members to welcome its teammates and clientele," Cobalt president and chief executive officer Scott Yauck said in the release.
Broadstep lists its current Wisconsin office location at 5555 N. 51st St., Milwaukee.
Cobalt is heading up the $132 million Allis Yards redevelopment project, located along South 70th Street, south of West Washington Street. Its plans include 320,500 square feet of office space, 28,300 square feet of retail space and a 128-room hotel.
On the east side of 70th Street, Cobalt is developing new office buildings, retail space, a hotel and a plaza connecting the buildings with the Summit Place office complex. The former Allis-Chalmers office building was demolished to make way for the new development.
The project also includes renovations to three buildings on the west side of 70th Street. Broadstep will be located in one of those buildings.
Also among those buildings will be
The Gage, a 300-person event venue opening this fall in the former Allis Chalmers tractor showroom at 1139 S. 70th St.
