A pair of Texas developers, WB Development Partners and New Era Companies, in November announced they had broken ground on a new inpatient Wimberley rehabs hospital in Greenfield. The three-story hospital building will include 40 private rooms and two therapy gyms.

The hospital is being built at 3200 S. 103rd St., the site of a former Knights of Columbus building. It will be operated by Allen, Texas-based Nobis Rehabilitation Partners. There, Nobis will treat people with debilitating illnesses and injuries such as strokes, brain injury and other complex neurological and orthopedic diseases.

It is expected to open in the fall of 2021 and employ about 120 people.
