Bounding Main to open Admirals season

The international vocal group Bounding Main will perform at the home opener game of the Milwaukee Admirals’ 2009-2010 season on Saturday, Oct. 24, at 7:30 p.m. They will also open the game singing the Star Spangled Banner. Fans of both the Admirals and Bounding Main, Jon and Kirsten Winski, introduced Bounding Main founder Dean Calin to John Bitter, director of ticket sales for the Admirals and things just fell into place from there. "We’d discussed approaching the Admirals to sing the National Anthem for them, so we were delighted for the opportunity to also entertain before the game and during the break," said Calin. “We’re really excited to have Bounding Main perform at our home opener on Oct. 24," said Bitter. "They’ll add a great nautical theme to the evening. What’s more, through their ticket sales efforts, we’re pleased to make a donation to Wounded Warrior Project to help our nation’s finest get back on their feet." Bounding Main has supported the Wounded Warrior Project as an extension of their own European tour last summer when they entertained American troops at the Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany.Tickets can be purchased Sept. 21st by contacting Bitter at 414-227-0829. Fans of Bounding Main can purchase tickets and $4 from every adult ticket purchase and $2 from every kid’s tickets purchase will be donated to support the Wounded Warrior Project. This does not apply to tickets purchased online or tickets bought at the ticket window – fans must call Bitter by Oct. 19 for the donation to apply.
