Bon-Ton unveils remodeled downtown Boston Store

Furniture department added, departments expanded

The ladies' dress department was tripled in size.

The Bon-Ton Stores Inc. unveiled its newly renovated downtown Milwaukee Boston Store at the Shops of Grand Avenue on Thursday with an open house.

The day included giveaways such as free Cousin’s Subs, food trucks, store demonstrations, a bed-making race with Milwaukee Bucks’ mascot Bango and a Fashionable Happy Hour.

Bon-Ton announced in April it would add furniture departments to 24 stores, including the downtown Milwaukee location adjoining its corporate headquarters. The retailer also remodeled its Mayfair Mall store in September.
