BMO Harris to retain Mitchell space

BMO Harris Bank N.A. has submitted the only bid to operate a bank concession at General Mitchell International Airport in Milwaukee.

The 577-square-foot space is currently operated by BMO. The bank would enter a new three year lease.

The rent is $16,000 per year, and $1 of each ATM transaction from non-BMO customers would be paid to Milwaukee County. The airport expects revenue would be about $50,000 for the first year the branch is open, according to Milwaukee County Board of Supervisors records.

The board’s Transportation, Public Works and Transit Committee will meet tomorrow at 9 a.m. to consider the agreement.
