BMO Harris Bank N.A. has purchased an office building it occupies in Brookfield for $4.7 million from Calabasas, Calif.-based A Investors LLC.
The property has an assessed value of about $8 million, according to Waukesha County records.
BMO Harris, the Chicago-based subsidiary of Canada’s Bank of Montreal, has 400 employees in the 63,000-square-foot building, which is located on five acres at 180 N. Executive Drive.
The bank fully occupies the space, and employees there work in product operations and support, said Patrick O’Herlihy, a spokesman for the bank.
“We had an opportunity to purchase the property, one that we already fully occupy, and the business case was a good one, so we made the purchase,” he said. “There’s no other plans for the property at this time.”
