Leaders of family-owned and closely-held businesses can learn strategies for dealing with the unique challenges and opportunities of their business at the Family & Closely Held Business Summit, presented by BizTimes Media.
The event will be held on Thursday, June 2, from 7-11:30 a.m. at the Italian Community Center at 631 E. Chicago St. in Milwaukee.
The keynote speaker will be Thomas Deans, the author of the book “Every Family’s Business.” All attendees will receive a copy of the book.
The event will also feature a panel discussion with leaders of family-owned and closely businesses in southeastern Wisconsin. The panelists will include: Scott Larson, president and chief operating officer of Gustave A. Larson; Deborah Anguil, COO of Anguil Environmental; Eric Olesen, owner and president of O&H Danish Bakery; Theodore Perlick Molinari, component assembly and brewery fittings supervisor, Perlick Corp.
The event will conclude with 20 roundtable discussions on family business and closely-held business topics. Attendees will be able to attend up to four of the roundtable discussions.
