Milwaukee entrepreneurship assistance organization BizStarts has announced it will create an Inspirational Entrepreneur Hall of Fame to showcase some of southeastern Wisconsin’s entrepreneurial success stories.

The hall of fame was announced during the first annual BizStarts BizBash Wednesday, which brought together a group of Milwaukee’s most successful entrepreneurs. The Davidson family, of Harley-Davidson fame, received the 2015 Inspirational Entrepreneur Award at the event.

“Bill, Karen and Willie G. Davidson join an impressive list of Inspirational Entrepreneur Award winners, who have all contributed to strengthening the fabric that is Milwaukee and the region,” Steininger said. “Today, we salute the Davidsons and all of our winners for their vision and leadership in our business community.”

The location and other details of the hall of fame will be finalized in 2016. Steininger said George Dalton, co-founder of Brookfield-based financial technology firm Fiserv, was the inspiration for the hall of fame.

“We at BizStarts decided that these incredible leaders and their impact on the region deserve to be recognized in a more formal capacity,” Steininger said. “This is why we are announcing the Southeastern Wisconsin Inspirational Entrepreneur Hall of Fame, a permanent place in Milwaukee that will house their contributions to our local and regional economy,” he said.
