The Corridor, a mixed-use development located along I-94 and west of Calhoun Road in Brookfield, is the site of plenty of building activity. Construction will be completed on the 125,000-square-foot Life Time fitness building, the Holiday Inn Express & Suites hotel and the Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott hotel in the third quarter.

The extension of West Golf Parkway is also under construction, which will complete the street grid to Calhoun Road and connect the development to the neighboring Brookfield Lakes Corporate Center.

Meanwhile, construction is set to begin next month on an expansion building at The Shoppes at The Corridor, which will feature retailers Old Navy, Party City and Five Below.

A remaining 2-acre site at Shoppes at The Corridor is available, possibly for a sit-down restaurant. Also planned is the seven-story, 208,000-square-foot Golf Parkway Corporate Center office building.
